A barber for events in Sydney's South-West

Clipper Culture is a barber for events in Sydney's South-West, taking group bookings for weddings, school formals, workplaces, sporting clubs and private occasions across Macarthur. Each event is quoted on its own, so the first step is a message rather than a price list.

What a group haircut booking covers

The published event list is short and specific. Each type has its own page where there is more to say:

  • Weddings and groom parties, from the groom through to the groomsmen
  • School formals, for a student or a group of mates
  • Corporate grooming days for a team at work
  • Private events
  • Sporting clubs
  • Large group bookings that do not fit any of the above

Every cut at a group booking is done by Jonah Ataalla, the owner and only barber at Clipper Culture. A group of ten gets the same hands on the first head as on the last.

How event pricing works

There are no fixed event packages. Pricing is tailored per event, and it is worked out once Jonah knows the date, the size of the group, where it is and what each person wants. A quote built that way reflects the actual job, not a bundle that suits nobody.

When an event means Jonah travels to the group, the published mobile call-out rule sets the travel cost:

  • Bookings of $120 or more within Campbelltown, Camden and surrounding suburbs: no call-out or travel fee
  • Bookings under $120: a $40 call-out fee
  • Bookings outside the local areas: a travel fee may apply, confirmed when you enquire

Because the threshold applies to the whole booking total, it matters more for a group than for one person. The full terms for travelling bookings sit on the mobile barber page.

A barber for hire across Macarthur

Clipper Culture works from a private studio in Glen Alpine and covers the Macarthur region around it, from Campbelltown and Ingleburn to Camden, Narellan and Appin. The areas we serve page lists all 22 suburbs. If your event is further out, it can still be quoted; the travel component is simply confirmed on enquiry.

Jonah takes a limited number of mobile appointments each week, because the studio remains the main part of the business. Event dates are booked around that.

How to book a barber for events in Sydney

  1. Message on WhatsApp or call 0415 990 995.
  2. Give the date, the location, roughly how many people and the kind of cuts wanted.
  3. Jonah comes back with a tailored price and confirms whether the date is free.

For weddings, the wedding page also has an enquiry form that takes the event date and group size in one go.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

How far ahead should we book a barber for an event?

Book at least a week ahead, and earlier is better for a group. Mobile appointments are limited each week, and a busy weekend can fill before a date is locked in. Sending the date and rough group size early lets Jonah tell you whether it is available, and the details can be firmed up afterwards.

Can people in a group book their own cuts at the studio instead?

Yes. Anyone in the group can book a timed appointment at the Glen Alpine studio through the booking page, up to 30 days ahead and at least 2 hours before the time. The studio sees one client at a time, so a group booking this way is spread across separate appointments rather than seen together.

How is payment for an event handled?

All forms of payment are accepted. Payment for an event is confirmed with Jonah as part of your quote, so raise any question about it when you enquire. If the plan changes after the quote has been agreed, call the studio on 0415 990 995 to talk it through.
