Jonah Ataalla, owner and barber at Clipper Culture

Owner and only barber

Clipper Culture is a one-person business. Jonah has been barbering since 2022 and trained through TAFE, building on it with additional online courses and hands-on experience. He runs Clipper Culture as its owner-operator and only barber.

In his own words: "When you're in my chair, you have my full attention, one barber, one client, no rush and no noise."

A Glen Alpine barber who built his own studio

Clipper Culture began as a garage setup and grew into the private studio that now sits at 28 Hartford Ave, Glen Alpine. The full story is on the About page, and the space itself is shown on the Studio page.

The business rests on one belief Jonah puts this way: "every man deserves a cut finished to the same standard, every single time." Four ideas follow from it:

  • Quality over quantity
  • Attention to every detail
  • An experience that feels personal and never rushed
  • Consistency in every cut

Working With Children Check

Jonah holds an active, verified WWCC. In NSW, the Working With Children Check is required for anyone in child-related work, and a clearance lasts five years and is continuously monitored while it is held. That matters to parents booking kids haircuts or a high school fade.

The work and reviews of barber Jonah Ataalla

Real cuts from the chair, from textured burst fades to cornrow braids with a taper, are collected in the portfolio. Clients rate Clipper Culture 5.0 from 24 Google reviews (as at May 2026), which you can read on the Reviews page.

"Whether it's your first cut or your fiftieth, I'll treat it like it matters, because to me, it always does."
